1. Record keeping only

The Healthidia application is intended only for recording and organising personal health measurements and documents. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a medical device.

2. No treatment decisions

Readings, trends, ranges, colour indicators, summaries, and exported reports are informational. They must not be used to start, stop, or change any medication, therapy, diet, or medical decision. Reference ranges vary between laboratories, devices, and individuals — only your clinician can interpret them in your context.

3. Always consult a professional

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, your readings, and any change to your treatment. Never delay seeking advice because of something you saw in this app.

4. Emergencies

In case of emergency, call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department immediately. Do not rely on this app in urgent situations — including severe hypoglycaemia, chest pain, breathlessness, confusion, or loss of consciousness.

5. Accuracy is shared

Values you type or accept from an automatic extraction may be wrong. Entries you created or changed yourself are labelled Manual or Edited, and you remain responsible for verifying them against your original documents and devices. 6. Camera use for blood glucose and blood pressure scans

When you choose to scan a blood glucose or blood pressure device display, you consent to Healthidia using your camera for that scan and processing the captured image to extract the displayed numbers. Camera access is used only when you open a scanning feature. The image may be processed automatically, including by AI when needed, solely to return a proposed reading for your review.

You remain responsible for checking every extracted value against the original device display before saving it. You may enter readings manually instead. Your phone or browser may still ask for camera permission because that security control is managed by the device or browser and cannot be bypassed by Healthidia.

By using Healthidia you acknowledge and accept this disclaimer. It also forms part of our Terms of Service.
